I'm trying to figure out schools and having a bit of trouble. I built a school in China thinking that the higher population would get me more youth faster but might be lower quality. (Am I right on this assumption?) Also, Should I not promote my youth until they are at 100% progression? Or will it stall at a certain point and I will need to increase the quality of my school or promote them to my junior team for them to progress like normal? |

Higher population, like China, will give youths faster. The quality of country and the school will both determine the quality of the player. The youth's progression will stay as it is in the school. Nor will they train while in the school. You should either promote them (to train as a keeper, or to sell on auction market) or discard them as trash. |

So whats the point of the progression balls? Is it just a useless mechanic? Because I do notice it go up in percentage the longer they stay in there. | 11/04/2011 01:55 |

Well, I have never heard of a junior player staying in the school to improve their Progression stat. My understanding was that Progression is unalterable and permanent to every player whether they're in school, on junior squad, or on senior squad. Perhaps an Admin or Mod can state otherwise, or you could provide more details on the changing of Progression that you are witnessing. | 11/04/2011 08:03 |

Progression is a useful data to know how a player trains. It is unalterable, except when he reaches the first team without being prepared (yellow or red P). In that case, progression will reduce permanently to show that "shock" of reaching the top team in a bad moment. On the other hand, It cannot be increased by any way, it will remain the same at school. | 11/04/2011 08:41 |

Please explan the yellow and red p sign. That means we must wait for a player to show the red p before we promote a player. | 11/04/2011 18:23 |
