This document seems to be set as private. I've requested access, but still no dice. What are the key formulas should we want to calculate it out ourselves? | 10/06/2011 19:01 |

Following on the great work of ofillodolobato and shengli, I added a few columns to sheet2 to figure out what is the best training activity for your team based on overall benefits. Of course, even though organising midfielders might be the best activity if you need to improve defense forget about it. The first average column is just assuming that every position is covered in the team by only one player (that would make "organise midfielders, ball control and running the best 3 types of training). Because the previous count of players per position is very unlikely, I have also added several columns that will be modified according to your team structure. So if your team has 10 defenders or 14 midfielders it will modify the averages accordingly. And I have also divided them in goalkeeper, defenders, midfielders and forwards in case you decide to focus on one particular field area. Once again, this assumes that the percentages provided for each position and each type of training are correct. Not sure why there is two input areas for player motivation in sheet1 calculator for individual positions. https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AuBYn1darVj0dFJ4Z3BhU1dMM0hDUjdreXJhX2dFakE&hl=en_US&authkey=COLinpwN |

Hi all, I have seen various iterations of the training calculator spreadsheet flying around and was also told of the back calculation that can be done to work out your player's progression %. Armed with this information, I decided to have a go at making a spreadsheet myself to work out the progression % and used the training effectiveness tables from the existing spreadsheets. The spreadsheet now works as intended but a lot of the progression % figures turn out to be unrealistic because some of the training effectiveness %'s seem to be wrong, often giving 1% when it should be much more. Is there a definitive / reliable table of training effects anywhere that I could plug into this spreadsheet and make it useful? Cheers, Mik |
