Yes a Scottish school is more expensive. If you think logically, it is very simple. Maintaining a school at such great locations is expensive, and they have to import everything else except scotch whisky. Also, rumour going around is that the Hogwards school of Magic sends lot of young kids to scottish football schools, which means increasing security to ensure Voldermont does not attack.
