Can somebody explain me, how can someone buy my players who were auctioned, by "direct purchasing". Because it was sold for a price that wasn't recommended by me. I loose two players by that way. 29/07/2011 21:45

The player is transferred after 24 hours, or before if the manager wants the cash sooner. 27/08/2011 19:13

Is there nothing like free transfer, when a player's contract is over with is team. Will u still have to pay the hostile clause ? 01/09/2011 22:48

Just a thought, during the 24 hour takeover period, there should be an option for the manager to match. Just sayin... I don't think many would, but a few might. It would add another aspect of negotiation to the game.

Pay your players more... sure, but there is always someone with more $. Since there is no sort of protection in this game other than paying your players MORE, and more, and more... it would be nice to at least have a chance to keep that sleeper with an 85 progression and 49 average who's buy out is 10000000 for the 150000000 value (in salary) of the new offered contract. It's your loss for sure if you deem that the salary is just not worth it.

The reason for this is that not all of us can afford to pay every one of our good players 100000 a week (which is eventually what it will come down to).

Just saying...

Like you say, pay them more. If you can pay them more after somebody has tried to buy them then you can pay them more before.

And not all teams can afford millions. Only the ones who have a good Stadium or a good training regime and coaches to train and sell or are good at buying and selling in general. So basically the established/experienced teams. But after a few seasons a new team should have these, and so will be able to afford those players when they need them.

man, I just had a youth hostiled, I spent forever finding him and signing him. I could have swore I resigned him.

Isn't there a clause where someone can't sign a player for 10 days after a hostile? Or is it 24 hours after the player is released?

Be careful ppl. Make sure you actually hit "confirm" (or whatever button pops up). Man, I hate being so absentminded...
