Should we remove all RIM, LIM, LDF, RDF and put them all to IM, CF and CDF?

I know people here have a lot of midfield players, some play with 6 7 midfield players in the match. But those RIM LIM LDF RDF LF RF are really doesn't exist in real life, and in this game they are different with IM, CDF, CF. Really they are just IM and CDF, CF. Really we don't need them, CDF, CF and IM is just enough. We have LW, CF and RW, why do we need an RF LF? Should we remove all RIM, LIM, LDF, RDF and put them all to IM, CF and CDF? |

and who said they don't exist in real life?iniesta.giggs.dont play the same position.in real life we have such positions as om/amf/smf/mdf/ss/lwf/lw etc.so how do we account for them here? as long as the players will retain their hard earned values no problem.thanks |

Center players we just have SW, CDF, MDF, IM, OM, SS, and CF with some of them have Left or Right foot. Those LDF LIM LF just not make sense. |

While I agree we should certainly eliminate position specific players, I think it would be definitely best if we could have them "prefer" a specific spot. Would probably make more sense to simply decrease the out of position penalty for players playing in the same section of the field (forward, midfield, defense) to where it's almost negligible but still a factor. |
