We need to do something with the game inflation! Players are getting more and more expensive. Some of them cost like 100 200 millions with average like 70+ and going higher. Oh come on, even most expensive in the world (C.Ronaldo, around 97+ average) is only 100 million euro, and this is only season 4! I don't like the near future view of when I need to buy a player with price like 10,000 billion Zimbabwe dollar. Reason: Some owners (more and more of them which was thought use thousand Golden Ball, take credit from bank and when they need to pay back, they get more credit from bank by using more golden ball) easily buy like crazy 200 millions in a week. It's just like they could printing cash, that's make the game's in super inflation situation. http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=257486 The dangerous thing is: The game getting not fun anymore in few weeks but moreover It's could ruin the game easily by like hundred of dollars if a competitor of this game want. How to do it: - Put a cap on maximum credit could take credit from the bank (100 million?). - Put a "Balance rule" like what UEFA using in next years (Club balance (which don't count from bank credit) can't be minus 50 million at the end of the year) applied from this season! Then those players need to get back to minus 100 in 2 weeks and back to 50 million at the end of season by selling those players back or they will be banned from the game like what we call "Balance rule" Yes? |

Here's a problem I'm seeing with your suggestion - golden balls use. To get golden balls you have to pay money, real money, and no site will go for a deal where they will limit the amount of money people spend on their site. It's like a credit card, they will increase your credit limit just to get you deeper in debt. I agree with you that it is lame what people do with credit limits boosting by using the debt limit, but it's a moneymaker for Striker Manager. I think that if people want to waste their money to get them deeper in debt by spending their golden balls that they bought with their real money, let them. The way I look at it it's a waste, because you're really not getting anything because the money aren't yours and you still have to pay it back. It the same if you would have to pay your credit card company to increase your credit limit, why would someone do that? But if there was an option and someone really wanted it, that would be their choice. Buying a star player for 200M I think is a bad deal because those players don't really have a room to grow. So, if someone spent their real money and got a player who doesn't really improve and they got themselves in deep debt for it, I'd say it was a dumb move. Don't get me wrong, I agree with you and it makes me mad to see managers who do that, but I gust don't see how it would change. If people want to spend ~$18 (1000 golden balls) to increase their credit limit to get a good player, that's their money. And it helps to keep the site going. |

i think it would be better to limit the money you take from the bank to something that'll bring in money to pay them back with, namely the stadium. if i ever took out massive loans like that, i'd put them into my stadium so i could have the biggest money machine in the game and then use that to buy my star players. that's just me though... | 09/07/2011 05:59 |

Well, somehow I agree with Romasik if: 1> They could pay back 2> They are not come from competitor of this game Now what the problems with those 2 cases are: 1> Most of them can't pay back --> They banned from the game --> Money already printed and can't pay back --> Super inflation 2> They come from competitors of this game --> just need to use $1000 real money buy all best players --> They don't want to pay back --> They banned from the game and already push like 100 billion into game --> Game over because of extra super inflation. And it don't help the site going even in best case (no one want to kill the game, and all of few of them could pay back), apply "Long tail theory" few of them make few hundred real dollar for the game, make the game inflation and not fun for thousand of us --> Then we don't pay --> Game over. I think prices will go up and up with the more money teams make. @internat posted a striker news article regarding the transfer fee record being broken on the Spanish version. The amount was £6,838,200,000. So if a competitor was to join, take out credit and buy the best players it will cost a lot, not really worth it. | 09/07/2011 09:24 |

So we should change the game currency to Zimbabwe Dollar? |

Hmm, I see what you are saying ymcop. I suppose in the real world it would play out by 1. The banks wouldn't lend too much to risky managers 2. If the manager goes bankrupt they collect and liquidate assets (sell the players of the manager) and 3. If the debt was was too high, there could be a potential bailout!! It sounds to me that the banks are quite loose with their purse. Maybe just slashing credit limits across the board would work? And maybe factor in length of play to your credit score? |

Why on earth would someone spend 6 billion on a player? We need financial fair play in this game. | 09/07/2011 10:29 |

Spanish striker is on the season 10. There, the managers are paying more than 1,000,000,000 for ... for example a Gk 87/18. And near 7,000,000,000 for a STAR CF 97/26 ... Now you think this is not normal, but it is |
