Can you have a look as I think we pay too much tax, for example, I have income of 321 million and expenses of 320 million, now take out the 3 million in taxes I have paid, that leaves expenses of 317 million, so I have a net profit of 4 million and yet have had to pay 3 million taxes on it. Normally on a 4 million profit the most you would pay is around 2 million in taxes, this difference for some clubs could mean the difference of surviving and prospering or going bankrupt | 17/07/2011 04:58 |

The balance sheet is much too basic to figure any sort of tax structure. I mean, do you depreciate your stadium over 30 years? What about deductions for capital investment? Forget about any direct taxes on Ticket Sales? Pension/Social security on wages? (Those are taxes) Buying and selling of players incurs a sales tax also. that's 5% which is cheap. Don't know what your balance sheet looks like, but I really don't want to come on here and have to do a balance sheet....what they give me is more than enough. Taxes in this game = cost of doing business. |

You should be thankful that we don't pay the real world's taxes here. That would really be no fun anymore. | 17/07/2011 06:32 |

Where is the doubt? There are a little percente of tax in small transfers. In big transfer you have to pay more tax (10% i think) I have voted No. |

'This is screwin my head in' Imma kiss you if the FA cut those taxes. I have replaced the guy running my finances 3 times thinking the goons were robbing me! I was going to fire Mr. Diggles this morning then he showed me letters from the tax office. I gave him a 6-fig pay rise ,that way i will have no money to give to the taxman when he comes calling! make sure you negotiate well with the TV companies, look at your attendance fees and look for free players and sell them on after a few months of training. Also get the best financial advisor you can afford and borrow what you can to help you get promoted.....I also have some great tips but not willing to share yet. my biggest expense is buying and selling players. I buy low and sell high. | 17/07/2011 15:21 |

I know its basic, but like most businesses at the end of the year you then pay your tax, depending on your profit made/loss made over the complete year, if you made a loss your loss would be carried over to the next year, and if you made a profit you pay the tax. the 5% for buying and selling players is not really 5% is it??? you sell a player you pay 5%, you buy a replacement you pay another 5% which both together costs you 10% and possibly more as the player you buy would usually be worth more than the player you sell. |

I think only the purchaser pays the 5% tax on player sales. | 17/07/2011 15:32 |
