I feel that it is a little ridiculous that 8 teams are relegated from each division, there seems to be little room for error. So here is my suggestion: 1st team in any league gets promoted 2nd-4th play in a knockout tournament with one of the 13-16th place teams. Whoever wins this tournament goes or stays in the higher division, the losers stay in the lower division. This way each team gets a bit of a second chance, and the ghosts are sent down anyway Edited by hewhoamareismyself 23-07-2011 17:59 |

I suppose the point of the league is that because you play everyone twice, little errors get cancelled out over the course of all 38 games. As with any relegation/promotion battle there will be a few teams trying to stay up/promote. The main reason why so many teams get relegated is so that inactive teams get sent down to div 7 quickly with space for the top 4 (rather than top 3 or 2 in real life) active well-managed teams to move up. | 23/07/2011 18:01 |
