 Today saw Round 7 (last 128) of the Striker Cup and it was no surprise to that, yes, the managers of Int'l 55 had managed to bribe, bully and bargain their way to the upper echelons of the Striker Cup hierarchy. No fewer than 7 of the teams had gotten stuck into the competition, like a gecko that's just spotted a particularly greasy glass window to try running up.

Demons of Razgriz were first to fly the Jolly Roger. But up against ANUBIS TEAM, with Anubis their lord of the afterlife directing the match they had no chance. Despite some fiery challenges and AceMcZer0's football disappearing in a puff of black smooth at half time, the Demons were kept in control by their master (5-2).

The morning's action also saw AC STL in action against International DST (ranked 6th!) with Rebsiot's ever-increasing fan base cheering them on. According to the Japanese arm of AC STL's commercial division, Herry Phewee will soon be appearing in his own special slapstick manga series "Whoopees with Herry Phewee". Navenby Gunners were to face the strong Inter Spurs C.F. in a tie featuring a striker who models his style of injuring himself on Michael Owen (Edward Schütte). The AC STL looked pretty in pink as they pulled off a tremendous 2-0 victory, whilst GunnerNic looked pretty peeved as him team lost on penalties (1-1 ft) despite his CF staying alive.

After a refreshing lunch with a few Serbian beauties, ФК ЦРВЕНА ЗВ took to the field against a very surprised "the sharks" team. Clearly they hadn't been expecting bojanv to relax and instead field a team of the footballers' wives. But the blonde bombshells proved effective enough, a 3-0 lead was too much for even them to blow (despite many hours of "training").

A Lifeguard was much needed to today, with the suspected mismatch between him and Chicotero surely going to end only one way, but sadly the manager appeared to be on "other duties" scarcely able to watch as Memes team went about their business. Safe to say the Bayern Pillow Munchers... well they got munched! (4-0)

After a spot of afternoon tea in Coventry, England, the geckos were relaxing in the sun, when their absent-minded manager checked his diary to find their kick-off was in half an hour. Of course the British lizards managed to polish off the last crumpet crumbs and scamper over to the match-up against none other than the Cultivators (ranked 10th!). Meanwhile, surely the underworld creature would triumph in one of their endeavours today? In a cruel twist of fate and yet guaranteeing Int'l 55 success, both 4ll41 (6-2) and Charlie's Devils (2-0) won and in fact will face each other in the next round!

Round of 64, now 4 teams from Int'l 55... AAARRRGGHH! Yes, me hearties and two top 10 skulls to go with it.
