when moving the ball forward back or side to side to get your formation where you want it, when you hit save it automatically sets it back to the basic locations and will not save where the ball/players were adjusted to. anyone else having this problem or know why it won't save where you want it??? ball will get back to the original position but the formation get saved. You can check that by moving the ball around. | 12/10/2011 21:16 |

still a little confused. all the players are moved back to basic locations, not advanced. so even though they have returned to basic locations when the game starts they will be in the advanced locations??? | 12/10/2011 21:19 |

Yes. Once you save, try moving the ball across the field. You'll see that the players will move as you set them. | 12/10/2011 21:22 |

ok, i had the advanced formation saved and selected but my players played in the position of the basic formation again. not sure how to get the advanced formation to work in a game??? | 13/10/2011 15:21 |

It will work automatically. You are the manager after all and can only guide your players. See them kick the ball on the feild and try and analyise your week spots and try to eliminate them  |

yea i have watched my games and it just doesn't appear that my LW/RW are moving further inside as i had set them up to do in advanced formation. it seems that wingers take shots from terrible angles based on their position on the field and CF's cost WAAAAAY too much | 13/10/2011 19:21 |

Thats the best part of advance formation. you can have those players come from different angles so they can have better shot angle. Just think where you wanna be if you had that (foot)ball between your legs... | 13/10/2011 19:23 |
