btw check this Messi on the other hand, has been extremely poor for Argentina scoring just four times in 18 games during qualification for South Africa 2010, before failing to score a single goal at the tournament itself. This is not to say Messi is not a talent, but he has yet to prove he can operate without the likes of Xavi and Andres Iniesta giving him the ball. He must also improve his free kick taking to be considered with Maradona. In his career, Messi has scored just three free kick goals, while Maradona had scored three free kicks in a single game when he was 20! El Diego is arguably the greatest free kick-taker of all time, while Messi is third or fourth in line at Barcelona to take them. Maradona has also scored goals from the half-way line and direct from a corner kick: Messi has yet to even attempt two such goals. No one is suggesting Messi should move to an unsuccessful team, as Maradona did with Napoli, but he must do something for Argentina to prove he can play at an elite level outside Barcelona. In Argentina, Messi does not stand out. There are many fans who downright hate him, while the majority think he is a great player but are still waiting for his breakout game with Argentina. and read all this http://bleacherreport.com/articles/508097-maradona-vs-messi-a-laughable-comparison |

pathetic sore losers are all over the society. Baca's fault is that they're too successful. Messi's fault is that he's too talented. No other ever come close to the level of Barca and Messi. We feel sorry for those people who never appreciate the good for self-development. If they are good, learn from them. If you're not as good as other, don't be jealous, don't be embarrassed, just keep learning. Being sore losers will not do you any good. Not only you are not growing up but the society will be packed with lost of useless individuals. That's serious. | 20/11/2011 04:55 |

But people who compare messi with maradona should try a watch his clips. May be becos thay dont watch maradona playing that why they said such thing. Messi and maradona are similar but maradona stand out, he play in his best form for 7 good years being the pivotal of his team. He is fast, strong, skilful, great freekick taker, wonderful long range shooter. Useful for both club and country. Can you see that he is still quite ahead of messi. |
