hi, ive had a look on the faq but net at work is painfully bad so cannot find the answer. how is the average rating worked out? ive got a few players who seem to be better than others but the average is pretty low couple of examples below

http://uk.strikermanager.com/inicio.php?accion=/jugador.php%3Fid_jugador%3D4349112 - gk average 17 but saves is better than my other gk below
http://uk.strikermanager.com/inicio.php?accion=/jugador.php%3Fid_jugador%3D6458259

got a couple of other positions that are similar but their rating seems to be much lower. is it to do with age, its younger players that have a low average. im guessing from this average is not the ting to look at then?

cheers

You're better off looking at what attributes they're strongest at and how they best fit your playing style. 14/11/2011 13:57

stub20000, if I'm not mistaken, the morale will affect the average. Try to put your psychologist working and get the player(low morale) to play in few matches. Perhaps his average will rise.

Seniors, correct me if i'm wrong.

At the moment the game is in an in-between state. Last season it was all about averages, this season it's not but a lot of the game's functionality still revolves around averages e.g. Searches with Scout/Coach Sec., market filters etc.
And ultimately a player with an average of 70 will be better than a player average 40. So it still helps as a guide, but it's really up to the individual.

Edit: Yeah I totally didn't look at your players before I commented. Use your psyche to get your players morale back up, the averages will even out.

What I said is still true though
