there is a good sticky on that. You shoulda checked that out before making a new thread. But now its been done anyways, so here we go ![]() I only started about 3 weeks ago, but here is what i figured out: 1) you need to look for 90%+ (hold mouse over skill rating to see the percentage) youth coach and normal coach. 2) when you win the motivation of your players is slightly higher. This is seperate for youth and normal team. Also only players who started on their preferred position will get the motivation bonus. The bonus is very small, but adds up and is therefor pretty significant. Note: players who dont start will be below 100% motivation. Players who start on another position than their preferred position will be at 100%. 3)some players just wont get much better, no matter which training. Buy new young players on that position and sell the ones that dont get better. Remember to give them a fair shot though (ie a good motivation rating)...start them while training something that should increase their stats. Sell the not improving players even if their av. is high. note: Private leagues are important for testing different players. You will play so many matches that you will need to rotate anyways. note2: junior players do not lose stamina by playing games, so you need no rotation there. 4) train properly. This means specialising to some degree. I train left backs, right backs, wingers and defensive miedfielders mainly, because they can all be trained using the same things...like tackling and sprint. Some people specialise on goalkeepers or central forwards, because they sell so well and for lots of money. Generally I find players playing in the center of the field to be more important (at least at the low level where I am now), but I have no information about how the simulation process works, so forget about that. I think that pretty much covers it. |

Players have a hidden attribute 'Progression' which determines their speed of improvement. Other factors such as coach skill, motivation and training type also affect training results. Younger players tend to have higher progression and this decreases over time (as players get older) so that older players tend not to improve and in most cases get worse. | 15/11/2011 00:28 |
