Additionally, I'm 8 points up into promotion zone with 8 games remaining. There are 3 teams 8 points behind me. 2 of these three teams still have to face cule & vija. The other one has a more difficult schedule than I do going out. I need to get to 4th place for sponsor bonus. Above me, Aix is 1 point ahead. He also has games against cule and vija also. The other 6 games are all against teams above relegation zone, so hopefully I can pick up 2 points on him, or somehow make up a 13 goal differential and gain 1 point. And that's how it stands in my group. |

SOOOOOOO close. Thanks RG for the help, came up short against Van der Vaart in a 2-1 loss. Took the early lead but couldn't hold out. Thankfully - still tied for last Div 2 slot, 12th place can't seem to take advantage of my games against top ranked teams, so i'm 13th only by goal difference at this point. i have an "easier" schedule upcoming now - hopefully i can put a few points up on the league table and clinch that last spot. |
