I have a doubt although i read this somewhere but i have forgotten.. When i create a new tactic, if i change my formation from 4-4-2 to say 5-3-2, then which midfield player of mine gets shifted in the defense? P.S i got 4-4-2 diamond formation with DFM, OM, RM and LM. | 08/01/2012 16:45 |

Suppose your formation 4-4-2 has a DFM and in the formation you chose his number to be 5, so it is very obvious you want him to defend when you change the formation to 5-3-2. So just make sure that in the formation 5-3-2, you give the number 5 to a defender. So now when you change the formation your DFM(most defensive minded midfielder) will shift to defense. One more thing you can add in this formation change and that is a Substitution. In your case you should substitute the DFM(number 5) and bring a defender in his place when you change the formation. So the new player(who is a natural defender) will be playing in his original position. |

thanks a lot.. i chalked it out after i read your instructions.. created a new 5-3-2 formation where i can substitute my OM with a defender so when i change the formation my OM becomes CDF. i kept my DFM for defensive work, no need of my OM when i am leading in a match. | 09/01/2012 07:42 |
