I agree. I won't discuss that particular case, but we are trying to refigure how to deal with 'high value' players (i.e. players 70+ or high progression/FC) There's no good way to figure it out right now.

Someone hostiled my semi-star IM for $300M

That guy, look at his crappy team now, just like the guy who hostiled my LM 86 for 173m and DFM 72 for 60m, then I was fined 70m with a reason "that hostiled players were too expensive"! I think now you can understand my situation better.

Wait a sec! Are you saying that if someone hostiles my player, I can get fined because hostile clause was too much. That's such a bull###t! I set hostile clause high so people wouldn't hostile my players, but if someone with a lot of money really wants my player and pays his hostile clause, I shouldn't get fined.

Stop for a second.

This has always been the case. and fine = market correction.

If someone hostiles a player (normal player, not high value as i said) for triple it's normal value, you will have the amount deducted that is different from market value. IF you feel that is too much, simply ask and make a simple case (look, i can't replace him for less than x).

It's as simple as that. You are not given a penalty for that. Just having an amount moved to correct for market.

As I said, we are trying to standardize this stuff to a large degree, and the points are valid, but we've been fiscal for all of 10 days. I can only tell you how it is now. I can say that several adjustments have been made on appeal, so just say something if you think the correction is too steep, or think that the other person did it for nefarious reasons only.

Ok? There is no malice here or reason to get upset over anything.

Hostile clauses should never be fined, regardless if the price was too high or too low. Hostile clause to me is how important is that player for my team. If I only have one CF and my hostile clause for him is at $150M, well that's how much he's worth to me. And if someone still buys him, well then the other guy thinks it's worth more than that. Noone should be penalized for that, neither side. Hostile clause and market value are different things, market value is the average, hostile clause is my personal evaluation of the player in my team. 13/01/2012 19:18

To be honest I had no idea that you can get penalized for having your player hostiled from you. It's like a kick in a face. I didn't want to sell him in the first place and now you can get penalized on the top of it.
Does the person who bought the player get's penalized too, or money refunded?

Exactly my whole point, thank you very much
(I'm not so good in expressing my thoughts, especially in English )

And please don't get me wrong, I didn't have any problem with @reb. We had a lengthy discussion regarding my cases and he helped me a lot.
