If u change ur tactics during a game will your players go to their positions automatically? (I'm just making sure) 06/02/2012 01:38

If you're talking about a formation change, and I think you are, then the answer is yes and no. They will go to whatever position corresponds to the row in your line-up that they started in. If you match up the formation you switch to with your starting one, then yes, they will take up the new positions automatically. If the new formation doesn't match up, then they will take whichever position the second slot offers.

Example

Formation 1 Line-up:
GK
LB
CDF
RB
LM
LIM
RIM
RM
LW
CF
RW

Formation 2 Line-up:
GK
LDF
CDF
RDF
LM
LIM
RIM
RM
LW
CF
RW

With these changes, your LB and RB will move to LDF and RDF.

Formation 3 LIne-up:
GK
LM
CDF
RW
LM
LIM
RIM
RM
LW
CF
RDF

With these changes, your LB will go to LM, your RB will go to RW, and your RW will go to RDF.

For me, it is easiest to just copy the starting formation, and then make my changes to that one (the positions I want to change). If you match up your line-up orders, you should be fine!

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
Heidstra
