If i resign a youth player in my team, he cannot be hostiled. That makes sense.
If I want to sell him later on, I cannot. That doesn t make sense.
I should be able to sell any of my players if I wish to.

Not possible, all will resign their players and sell them when they want to if it is allowed. Resign only those players whom you train are not able to loan out. Every privilege comes at an expense here it is not being able to sell. 10/02/2012 09:43

if you have a youth player who you might want to sell in the future, put him on the market with the lowest buy now fee & buy him back yourself immediately, setting his release clause nice and high.

then you can train him for a bit while you think about whether to keep him. if you decide to resign him, drop his salary back down.
