Hello, i need some clarifications about the game... What are star players? Have some differences (advantages?) compared to "normal" players? Are they created randomly by schools? Is it possible to estimate player's peak before it's reached? Thanks

Star players are based on real players (real life), and are otherwise no different from other players. They are created by the admins with a big announcement and require golden balls just to place a bid on them on auction.

You can estimate a player's peak by using the "training" menu option in a player's profile and then click the Forecast button in the upper right (doesn't appear for new players). It costs 10 golden balls. The value depends on your coach quality. The better your coach, the hIgher the forecast. Forecast also goes up about 1 point/season if you train a guy vigorously every day

So we can say that forecast is a variable value connected to the coach ability and probably with player growth rate, right? And so, does not exist player with low forecast but high growth rate (that will grow fast but stop soon)? The peak is only the result of a forecast considering coach and g.r., not a nearly fixed value that each player has (like growth rate)? 22/02/2012 20:29

players peak at different times. Some have peaked at the start of their career. I signed a 4-average player whose forecast was...

4

(long story)

There are also players whose growth is average but will peak soon. Several GKs fit this profile, they will grow fast and peak at 40-50 average.

Most players peak late and so their forecast is defined by their hidden "progression" attribute along with your coach and how much they have been trained. I've seen player forecasts go way up in a week after they start training intensely, or even drop a point if neglected.

Best scorer
Star players will bring in extra stadium and sponsorship income, whether they bring in superior pitch performance is debatable.

However, the current overall striker with the most goals is a Silver Star player:
