Hi there, I was thinking, a high versatile player would increase a players average? What I mean is: If i got an RM with versatility 80% and an RM with versatility 30% and all other stats would be the same... Would I get a difference in their total average? Thx in advance for your opinions |

no versatility is how a player can adapt in a different position | 09/03/2012 22:41 |

I would just like to add to the above reply: For example, if your RM has high versatility, it can play in the RIM without much loss in average. Similarly, LWs can play as LF and vice-versa, RWs as RF, LMs as LIMs, RDFs as RBs, LDFs as LB(all applicable the other way round of course) |

I understand what versatility is. My question is if versatility counts when the total average is calculated. All other stats count, for example: high finishing, dribbling etc make a high average player. Now what I ask is this: Lets take 2 IDENTICAL players (same stats, position etc). The only difference would be the VERSATILITY. Would that make a difference in the total average of the player?? |

As krazy said, versatility does not affect average if played in the correct position. | 10/03/2012 22:02 |

I personally have noticed that the higher the average the less versatile. It's not a direct correlation though so it could very well be random, or age related. | 11/03/2012 02:34 |

I don't think that's the case. Say a player is 15 average 16 years old, versatility 85% but has colossal progression/forecast. When he gets maxed out, his versatility remains the same. So what you get is an 85 avg player with 85% versatility. Versatility is unaffected by age. |
