Hi, A few questions: 1) Do you need to manage your youth players the same way you manage the senior league? That is, rotate players, change formations, etc? I thought that since there were fewer options, that it may not be needed, but I have the impression that some players never play. 2) I have a player with 0 morale--or close to it. If I play him in a starting position in a friendly game, will that change anything? Is my only option to psych him until he reaches 99? That's s expensive for a single player. Thanks, L |

1) You don't need to manage your youth like your seniors. You see, its the senior league that counts in the game. Just make sure the youths you play have 105% motivation, so that they train well. Remember, youth formation does not matter. I play a 3-7-0 in my youth team so that my mids keep 105% motivation. Youths never lose stamina but they lose morale and fitness. Even if you don't play them for a long time, reserves and subs don't lose much morale unless your senior team loses. 2)Yes its quite expensive for a single player, especially if you're starting new. You could play the 0 morale player, but he'll be pathetic in the pitch(cuz he's 0 average). Best way to do it is place him in the subs bench, as long as you win your games, he'll start getting back to normal gradually. Edited by Ricky_jcr 15-03-2012 10:22 |

Aha! So the best formation is one where I put all my best youth players on the pitch in their favourite position? Interesting. Thanks for the tip for my player's morale. Thanks, L |
