I disagree that it wasn't a bug. It was considered a bug when people could sign up for a private league after their current league ended and play two PL games in one day, but the system allowed it and we saw all kinds of messages not to take advantage of it. | 28/03/2012 14:03 |

So what you are saying is that you dont get the season ticket money up front now but after every home game you will get the increase in partners * cost of ticket? |

yes exactly, so if you can keep your partner price above "y home games(inc PL) * general seat price" you get more money in the long run. | 28/03/2012 20:01 |

I think that it was unfair not to have a warning before hand. I would have let my season tickets at 500 if I've known that the system would break my back with this "fix" | 28/03/2012 22:05 |

Why would you set it at 500? That means you are selling a full season of general seating for about 13 per game. | 28/03/2012 22:47 |

I think it was more of a fix to a bug, so you can't really complain. However, I set mine to exactly the formula that I set above and have 0 partners too. | 28/03/2012 23:08 |

At least at 500 I would've retained the 5k partners that I had before the fix. I guess receiving $2m instead of 0 is better than that. Common sense mate | 28/03/2012 23:54 |

Yeah but you will be losing out throughout the season, you will have basically sold your seats for about €13 per game to me that is not common sense. | 29/03/2012 00:21 |

eamwilson said: Yeah but you will be losing out throughout the season, you will have basically sold your seats for about €13 per game to me that is not common sense. Exactly right. Making your season ticket price low at this point or just before season end is just throwing money away. I'm very happy with 0 partners for now as I can make my general seating full from the get go. So here's how you do it as there seems to be much confusion: Add up all your home games including PL and estimate a few extra for Striker Cup. Lets call this number Y. Multiply Y by your general price (if you not sure what price this is try do a "optimize" - if not just go on previous seasons price + a few $ if you've been promoted) So if you want someone to buy a season ticket NOW, you have to make it around this figure (maybe with a small discount) Anything less and you throwing money down the toilet. That seat is BOUGHT and you will receive no further income from it. As the season progresses, obviously bring the season ticket price down slowly (there are fewer games) or you will get fewer takers. |
