Will a player be able to ever pass his maximum forecast? or what we see there is the maximum average a player will ever be able to reach.

Sometimes when you train a LOT, the forecast increases and same happens when we get much better coach.....Anyway I don't think it's more than 1-3pts increase.

Apart from that, the forecast is the maximum a player can reach

From what I've seen ytm has it right, the more you train the more it goes up. I've got a player that started with 78 FC who is now 88 FC. 07/04/2012 21:05

Can anyone confirm that the age where avg plateaus and the age where decline starts dont change?
And that the slope of improvement (and decline) is what changes with training?

Then in that case, Forecast does depend on motivation(which determines the rate of progress of a player, as ytm said) indirectly. Most people are under the misconception that forecast does NOT depend on motivation.
Training depends on motivation, forecast depends on training, So forecast HAS to depend on motivation.

All I guess is that if you have a brilliant coach, forecast curves tend to steeper, more like an upturned "V". Because, a good coach makes a player improve faster, but it also increases rate of decline.
I noticed when I had a 67% coach, there was a huge flat(plateau) portion in the growth curve. As my coach was inferior, The player didn't improve much, nor did he decline much.
