Seven or eight times in my game today (http://uk.strikermanager.com/partido.php?id=5449893&accion=simul), my players were called for offsides while they were in their own half of the field. Most of the time they were in that half when the ball was kicked. This is not an offsides according to the rules of FIFA: http://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/lawsofthegame/law/newsid=1290867.html Anybody else having this problem? |

Same thing happens to me. A no. of goals was cancelled against my team, imagine 21offsides in a match in just under 30mins of football game. It cost me my home league game. Lets make the game more attractive, by finding solution to it. | 07/04/2012 07:26 |

It happened again today... at least 12 offsides on my half of the field. I've got no problem with people running an offsides trap, because it should be easy to defeat, but if you stack all of your players in the opponent's end of the field, knowing that the bug exists, to me that seems un-ethical. It's demoralizing to lose to a team you should be able to beat, not because of poor tactics, but because they shamelessly exploit a bug in the game (which loosely fits the rules against cheating...) Devs, I know you're overworked, but how hard is it to add an if/then argument to check whether or not a player is in their own half of play? | 16/04/2012 22:00 |

Devs, I know you're overworked, but how hard is it to add an if/then argument to check whether or not a player is in their own half of play? A while back we were informed that the lines on the field in the visual simulator didn't exactly match those in the coded simulator. I know it's on the top 3 list of things to address. There's nothing we can do about that until the devs get to it but in the meantime I would suggest if you're going to play an opponent who uses that kind of tactic then you need to bring your players back further to compensate. Adaptation is the best cure at this stage ![]() |
