I joined this conversation late, so i'm sure i missed some of it, but here's the tail end. If you've got the rest of it, feel free to add it on.

<Vinny D> Well, I think it was a bit unfortunate that I played a fellow Div 3 team in the early rounds of the cup. I was not prepared, O should have looked ahead in the schedule to have known to rest my players.
