I'm glad that regular injuries are back, but I think it's a little overboard to have three multi-week injuries in a single private league game. Is anybody else experiencing this? Also, after each of my injuries, the substituting player promptly kicked the ball out of bounds, adding insult to injury. http://uk.strikermanager.com/partido.php?id=6228575 |

Ouch! That is extreme. Might I ask how often you run your physiotherapist? | 06/05/2012 03:57 |

@cello, I only run him at the beginning of the season, since training keeps fitness up the rest of the time. I'm assuming from your question that there is something I (and probably a lot of others) don't know about the physio. Should I be running him constantly, even if fitness is at 99? |

yes, I believe you should. My injury rate went from about 30% to 1-2% after I started doing this, so I would be curious to see how it works for you. It's worth noting that in pack manager, if you set up physiotherapist to run automatically, and only when needed, it runs every single day, without fail. This would imply that physiotherapist is always needed, and my anecdotal evidence matches this. Give it a try, and see how it works for you. The extra expense is minor, but be sure to budget about another $700,000/week for physio costs. |

You should have known that Physiotherapists helps to prevent injuries. I haven't have injuries of more than two weeks. I only had one Injure player this season ![]() |

That's probably something we should add to the FAQs, since I bet a lot of people without pack manager were thinking the same way I was. This would also seem to imply another hidden variable that influences injury (since it's obviously not fitness), and begs the question of whether or not people should be able to use golden balls to see this variable. (Is it one variable, or two? I suppose there could be a hidden variable that determines how rapidly the other hidden variable increases or decreases for a particular player). |
