my dfm got a red card and didnt play the rest of the game and no one even cared to take his place on the field and then only 10 players from my team where playing the rest of the game. http://uk.strikermanager.com/partido.php?id=5560990 game ^^^^^^^ now some one telll me why didnt so other player take my dfm's place? |

the simulator is not smart enough to move players around after red cards. just hope and pray that one of your key CDF's that is marking your opponent CF never gets carded b/c it will get UGLY fast lol Edited by FCSuperstars 09-05-2012 18:41 |

The exact same thing happened to me when a RDF got red carded. no one took his place and there was a large hole on the right side of the field. The simple solution to this is to support all your players all over the field - leave no holes in case one does get red carded. | 09/05/2012 18:43 |

good point @lifeguard, i try to have my DFM's assist in marking deep in my own end so if one of the CDF/RDF/LDF gets the boot there are other players dropping back too  |

The only flaw to this might be when more than one player gets red carded. Just as in a real game, getting red carded is a handicap. | 09/05/2012 18:47 |

but in teh real game u can replace that player with some one else . ! |

what if ur full forward line , the strikers get redcarded in the finals of sc , that is if u make it there. then what ? there should be subsitutuon if a player gets red carded another player must replace him . |

( i hope i misunderstood ) u mean sub him? because of course only 9 players + gk will play !!! a defender get red card , he will be replace by a player from ur 9 remaining +GK (this is how the sim works ) but the other player mid your DFM in this case or attack will not be replace by the remaining player from the field .... |

well usually , since i have joined the team , my players haven't been awarded red cards though many yellows and after the yellow we sub them . all i wanaa say is taht some one should cover his place in the field. |
