I need a new keeper, would it be bad to promote a 17 year old with 41 average? Will this ruin him forever, what should I do? | 22/05/2012 14:19 |

If you can wait it out till next season he'll get a yellow P next to his name, unless you can train him up to 50 before hand  If you promote him early you will lose 12.4% in Forecast (see: http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=268430). Plus his morale will drop to 49 so you'll be working your physio for a while to get him back up to scratch. Why not go looking on the market, or you might be lucky and someone seeing this might be willing to sell you one, or you could always find one to hostile. Of course, if it's just some crappy junior GK you don't really care about then it shouldn't matter anyway... It's up to you |

If he doesn't have a yellow P then his training/FC/Progression will be effected. So don't promote until the Yellow P shows. | 25/05/2012 22:56 |

The times a junior will get their yellow P (from the FAQ's) 80/14 70/15 60/16 50/17 40/18 so you've got another month to train your guys up till they turn 17, unless you can train them up to 60 |
