I had a few free kicks in my game yesterday and I've noticed this trend before. My freekick takers, whether it be the one I chose or the game chooses for me at times just can't decide where to pass the ball. During my game yesterday my opponent uses a formation in which all the players bunch up around the ball. Now with this formation I have 2 players open on the opposite side of the pitch and they are in onside positions. I'm talking about wide open, pass the ball and run in and score open. What's going on with free kicks? Again a little bit of player intelligence would be great here. I'm tired of seeing the pass back to defenders, or a pass forward to no one, or the opposition. A free-kick is a real chance especially with the offside line people play for my team to score. My players generally break the line, get hacked down(no cards here again) and then a wasted opportunity follows. If you play the offside line, fine, I'll break through eventually but the hacking from behind has got to stop and if not then a card and at the very least a chance to utilise my free kicks in earnest would be appreciated. So who's feeling me on this? Anyone else having free kick issues? |

I agree... since the day my forwards have become virtually useless, i lookforward to free kicks as they can be useful to start an attack. But these errors are making them useless too. Please do work on them . | 28/05/2012 11:43 |
