Did you know...? Chapter 1 Trainings

Did you know that a good training plan is essential for your players?

Scheduling a proper training is essential for your players to reach their maximum average.
If a player with a good training progression is not trained properly, he will not reach even half of what he could have reached.

What are the factors that influence to reach a high average?

Basically, the reach of a good average for your players depends on 3 factors:

1. - The progression of the player:
Progression indicates how fast the average of your players raises. This parameter is given to the player when he is created. The progression can be known only through two methods:
- When the player is created in the school; the balls you can see next to the player is an indicator of progression.
- Using “Search +” on the scout or the coach secretary.

2. - The daily training:
The training you schedule every day for your players influences more or less in the player depending on his position.
For example, if you train "shots on goal", your defenders will not raise much the average because the parameter "shot" is not too important for a defender. If we want a player to increase a lot -and very quick- we will schedule trainings that will fit with the player every day.

3. - Motivation:
Motivation is a percentage, which appears on the player profile, and indicates how well the player absorbs the training of the day.

Motivation is calculated after the daily training. This is just a multiplier that takes the increase the player has been in each parameter after the training of the day.
The motivation depends on the role the player has developed in the last game played. Thus, if the player plays as starter in his exact position, he gets 100% motivation, as substitute gets 75%, and as reserve gets 50%.
There are other factors that will influence motivation such as: winning a game, the accessories and temporary promotions.

So... Which training I should schedule?

A good planning in your trainings, combined with good management of roster, is vital if you want the average of our players to rise quickly.

Below, you will find a list of football trainings that will help you improve every aspect of your players:

**According to their positions:

- Goalkeepers: Saves; Penalty saving; Catching high balls

- Defenders: (LB, LDF, CDF, RDF, LB and to a lesser extent, DFM) Man-to-man marking; Intercepting passes; Tackling; Clearances.

- Midfield players (LM, LIM, IM, RIM, RM, DFM, OM): In-depth passing; Ball-control; Shots on goal.

- Forwards (LW, LF, CF, RF, RW): Dribbling; Shots on goal; Crossing the ball; Beating markers; Penalty shots.

**According to the zone:

- In the middle (LDF, CDF, RDF, LIM, IM, RIM, DFM, OM): Running

- On the wings (LB, RB, LM, RM, KW, RW, LF, CF, RF): Sprint

In this list do not appear all the trainings available, but this gives you an idea about the best training grosso modo.

-The detailed explanation for intrepid Strikeros:

When we introduced the new simulator we made a complete change in trainings.
Before training directly affected the total average of the player. Now it is not, and the total average is a result of a simply calculation using the parameters of the players, which is where the train actually affects.
The parameters affected by training are: Pass; Shot; Dribbling; Speed; Ball steal; Saves; Strength; Technique; Aggressiveness and Leadership.
Training will affect these parameters directly, depending on the position of the player and the current value of this parameter. Thus, lower averages increase faster these parameters.
A forward with parameter “shot” 30 and training “shots on goal” will not increase the same as a forward who has “shot” 90. The player with parameter “shot” 30 will increase much faster than the other with parameter 90.

How much influence do trainings have on parameters?
Sorry, but this is "Top Secret" and it is your job, dear super managers, to establish the relationship between what trainings increase which parameters and how they do.

For example: if your players train "in-depth passing", the parameter “pass” will be increased in LIM players, but also the training "crossing the ball" will increase the parameter “pass” to LIM players.

What is better to train “in-depth passing” or “crossing the ball”?

It depends. The training "in-depth passing” increases parameter “pass” more than the training "crossing the ball", but "crossing the ball" also increases other parameters at the same time, ie, this training also increases the parameter “speed”, among others.
You should see what parameter you want to increase and then decide the training.
If we have midfield players with a low “pass”, the best training will be “in-depth passing”. However, if we want to increase a bit all parameters at the same time, then the best choice will be to schedule the training "crossing the ball".

That's all for today folks!

Coming soon a new "Did you know ...?" This time will be about the forecast and progression.
