Hi, I wonder if it was possible to give players a high salary till sunday, then resign him with a low salary for the daily expenses and resign him afterwards to maintain a high release clause at low cost. |

U can do that but once u lower the player's salary his Release Clause also lowers, so incase any manager who is interested in your player can hostile him for a lower price and you will be in a loss. | 31/05/2012 14:50 |

It could sort of work? You can only resign once every 48 hours, so you'd have your team at risk Sunday and Monday. However you could always change some of your players to lower amounts and then raise them back up. I wouldn't ever go too low because you never know who might be looking at your team. | 31/05/2012 15:02 |

Actually, you would have your team at risk on Monday, since you cannot hostile a player who has resigned within the last 24 hours. If you're paying a player a lot of money because you don't want them to get hostiled, I guarantee someone is watching your player, waiting for just the right moment... ![]() |

what you could do if you were brave is resign to new contract on sunday a few hours before your weeklys come out, then auction with direct buy to get their release back up, you would need to drop their clause enough to take into account the tax you will pay to rebuy. | 31/05/2012 22:19 |

non of my seniors have high fc - each only improve few points max =so surely is ok when i get to promote the 90+ fc youth i have sure i will look at wage and make sure is high enough to put off any hostiles but if a player age 25 is hostiled i can replace with a slightly better player on my short list and pocket a few million profit after taxes so surely given this situation is good idea or is @Cellog saying dont lower wage temparily to save a few dollors then resign? :S |
