It is supposed to "Lung steel: low energy more slowly." according to the not so wonderful documentation.

The question is does this mean that their energy just lowers at a slower rate DURING the match or does it mean that their actually stamina loss is lower for the match?

I am curious.

i am too, i thought for sure they wouldn't lose quite as much stamina as the players with 0 stell lung skill but alas they were all at 79/80 stamina after starting at 99. 03/06/2012 02:52

I watched your Saturday game and followed "Taylor" who appears to have 2 Steel Lung skill allocation.

He started the match same energy as nearly everyone else. You substituted him at half time, but before leaving the pitch he actually seemed to have perhaps LESS energy than two of your other defenders.

This is why I keep saying skill points are a complete mystery (along with experience). They probably don't even work based on how buggy the rest of this game tends to be. Yet we don't really know because we have no clue how it is "supposed" to work.

dneighbors, WOW, i haven't even watched it yet lol. i was mostly referring to my 2 DFM as they have no subs and play the whole match as well as my two LF/RF who played the whole match as well with no steel lung skill but all still had the same stamina losses. with the 2 CDF's, they actually should have been very fresh near the end b/c both subbed in at the half lol. it is a mystery. 03/06/2012 03:04

I'll link this here, but it should lower stamina loss. I will say that the others do seem to work.

This game has become more of a guess than knowing what actually it does, may the effect of 1 or 2 skills is not that recognisable 03/06/2012 12:58

The only way to reliably check steel lung would be to play two friendlies against the same opponent on a fixed 50% effort all game. Play one with steel lung on and one with it off. 03/06/2012 13:07

but i am afraid other aspects like the player involvement on field ( means running, ground coverage ) n man marking kind of things make it near impossible to do it. 03/06/2012 13:09

True, I reckon if you played 3 with and 3 without you would probably get a good idea what it does. 03/06/2012 13:10
