marvouille said: I begin to understand better. It s a good point you have here. But! What if ALL players of a div play bad? As new players tend to do, I agree, new players can do sh*t. I've done it, and I will. Would it be still so hard? Don't will players that have spent some time, understood better the game that would be promoted? Same result, but they have been challenged during the season? ? Well, You have some options to get stronger opponents, if You feel underchallenged in Your present league. 1. You can look for a strong private league for the weekends. 2. In Striker's Cup it's only a matter of time until You hit some stronger team. 3. You can take one of the spots in a higher league, that are offered to You 4. You can arrange friendlies against teams from higher leagues |

cutting to the point u on about here i think game is dumbed down for new managers way too much it will take 2 seasons to get a good feel for game and set up good club now we all done this but what sort of person will do it now knowing there are 2000 managers who are way ahead of them i will tell u - he is a rare manager! in short not many new mangers will join this game and stay having seen how far behind they are + each season takes 3 months!!!!! shorten the seasons help new mangers be more competative (more cash, a star player, free schools -maybe a few ideas) scrap div 7 have more cups - like a lower and mid league cup and maybe a cup winners cup or something like a europa league i see this game slowly but surely dying out ![]() it can not go on with no new blood |

Agreed, Wiveliscombe. I really like this game, and I log in a few times a day at this point, but I question how long it can really last. A year ago when I joined, the game was still rather new and it seemed a little more reasonable, there were only 4 divisions, and you could buy players for a few million, so the 800K you got from your stadium didn't seem so small. Now you've got to build your team from 30 average and it's a long way up. Yes it's entirely doable, and it's been done by plenty of people, but to expect new users to come in and have the patience to build their team up over a year or more is kind of naive, and if the developers want to keep growing the game there need to be some changes. Seasons definitely need to be shorter, cutting them in half would definitely help. New players could actually see that they could reach division 1 in a single calendar year, yes it's not likely but it's at least still possible. You're also speeding up player training. At the moment my crop of juniors won't reach their peak forecast till 2015, which is just crazy. I can tell you right now I most likely won't be around this game in 2015, and at the current speed, a lot of other people won't be either. A lot changes in 3 years, especially since a lot of members seem to be young. They'll graduate from high school or college and get busier and eventually stop caring about the game. Which is why the game really should be as new user friendly as possible, because new blood is always needed. I'm sure if you spent the time and actually looked through division 5-7, the number of people who were actually active and playing the game is probably incredibly low. |
