So, can we at least say, that if you are going to purchase a player based on progression and max, that you should not let the seller message you about it but should require that the user put something on the message board saying the player's progression and max? Since we are saying @'s have no access to messages, so if you are cheated the best way to get a cheat report approved is if you can point to a message board that @'s can see. I think you should publicize that, I bet the owner who cheated me knew this loophole, and I doubt how many relatively inexperienced owners would think through it this far. do you mean private messages? a private message or forum post should count as proof. you would only not have a record if it's posted in chat. |

All you need to do when dealing with someone is tell then they need to show the players forecast, and if they don't then you can't do business with them. If they give you some sort of excuse about why they can't show you the forecast or they send you a jpeg or something, then I'd imagine they're lying. I'm sorry you got burned, but there are tons of transactions that happen daily that go just fine because both managers made sure to do their due diligence. | 11/06/2012 14:55 |

I guess I mean private messages. I've been told that @'s have no access to private messages. So that's the warning I want to give, private messages can't be used as proof. So for my help, if a user does "Show Forecast" on his player, then another owner will be able to see what the forecast is? I just really don't know how this works. It would help, if someone could put together a post on the best way to do "due diligence". |

Private messages do work for proof, you just have to screencap it and send it along. Yes, if a user does click show forecast, it makes it available to anyone, for example this guy http://uk.strikermanager.com/jugador.php?id_jugador=8708033 if you click forecast you can see it, and so can anyone else who wants to see it. That is the easiest way to confirm FC. Though keep in mind that FC is based on what level coach a player has, so if someone had a 99 coach and you had a 75 coach, you can expect that forecast to go down a few points. The best way to ensure you're not scammed you just need to do a few simple things: 1. Always confirm the forecast when you're doing a deal based upon forecasts alone. 2. Never rush a deal. Obviously you don't want to wait forever to do a deal, but if you get an offer, research the player you're getting, send a message about the deal, etc. Double check that everything looks good and that there isn't anything fishy about it. That's really all you need to ensure you're getting a good deal from someone. |
