MVP of the game
It was said, that in order to win supporters, which I understand are the basis for how many fans visit Your homegames, You have to win games. These days I'm following the numbers quite closely and what I found out so far doesn't support this.

In the last 3 games I gained almost exactly the same number of supporters, no matter whether I won or lost or who I was playing against. On Saturday I won against a strong team in PL and gained 141 supporters, on sunday I lost against an equally strong team and gained 140 supporters, on monday I lost against a weaker team in my league and still gained 137 supporters.

How are this gains in support calculated?

How play against teams who have more supporters than you(or less). I don't know the exact formala, but if I play vs someone ranked 2000 places below me, I gain very little. If I play against(and beat) a top 50 team, then I gain more. 18/06/2012 23:28

Doesn't work out either...

My win against Nr. 187 gave me 141 sup. My loss against Nr. 300 gave me 140 sup. And my loss against Nr.238 gave me 137 sup.

Go figure...

This is the next installment of economics of striker manager that I've been working on...
I don't know the formulas yet, but I can tell you that there seems to be a base number of supporters that you gain per game depending on your division or experience level (not sure which). That number seems to be increased by the length of your win streak.
Manager experience is a whole different ballgame, which is going to take me longer to figure out. Details to follow when available.
