Played Cylons, who eliminated me from the cup 2 seasons ago on penalties in a game I dominated. I still haven't forgotten. Unfortunately, I went all out looking for a win yesterday and didn't get it. So I was in bad shape going into today and resigned myself to a loss. Played mostly a backup team and a desperate formation/tactic. Team avg according to post game rating = 82.8 vs. 86.3, so I rated 3.5 points lower. Ended up winning on penalties to avenge the loss. Double sweet revenge because I was expecting to lose. Next round, Champos, who nicked me 2-1 yesterday... Whoever wins that will have a decent shot at making the semis. out of the rest of our 8 team bracket, the highest ranked team is 10th place in div 2...most are div 3. Lost to grad bud. Losing sucks, but didn't expect anything else. Saw the stats of his last few games, and gathered he plays ot. So I played an anti ot formation that I made last season. But I can say that inspite of losing 4 1, I did dominate the stats. Time for friendlies now. Any one up for it? Ps: if all goes as pe plan, I will be online more often from tuesday. |
