- "Formation canon" now ca;;ed "Formation rights"

We added a called “formation cannon” in transfers.

Every time a player is transferred, the team where that player was created (school) will get benefit from it. A % of the total amount will be given to him.

The percentage varies depending on the following factors:
- Players come from school with 2% canon
- Every season that a player stays on his original team, his canon goes up by 2% ( Until he 20 years-old )
- Every time the player is transferred, this percentage goes down by 2%.
- You can find this information in player's profile.

For example: You are about to sell a junior player that has been on your team for two years, since he was born. You sell it for 5M.

Two months later, the player is sold to another team for 10M. The canon for that player is: 2% (original) + 4% (2% for every year). So it's 6%. Therefore you will get 6% of 10M.

The initial canon of all players in the game now will be 2%, independently of how many seasons have been playing for you.

where does the money to pay the canon come from? If it comes from thin air, will this increase inflation? 28/06/2012 02:36

It comes from the money the seller gets.

I was about to post a new topic seeking clarification about this new variables in an increasing intricacies of a money game called Striker Manager (belive me its addictive brainiac game). But since i have stumbled upon this thread, i hope the admins will notice and heed about this.

1. What is the motivating factor of having a canon?

2. What is the philosophy/objective behind this feature?

3. Was it aptly termed? or is it synonymous with torpedo/catapult/projectile?

I maybe blond and sexy in person, but i dont want to go dumb so please more explanation, may i ask,

1. You would want a player with cannon because if you trained them over 3-4 seasons, you could get a lot of money when they're sold later on.

2. I think the objective is to distribute more wealth. For example, if I hostiled a 99 fc junior from someone who didn't know about fc's and what not that had that player for 2 seasons. Then I trained him up and sold him for 100 million, that guy could get 6 million which could really help a fledgling 5th division team. It also tries to promote keeping your school players and doing balanced training rather than focused training, so you're gaining money from good players you sell. It's not going to do that though because the money is too low.

3. Typically it's called a sell on clause, though in real life it takes many forms. Here's a real life example of one, (http://live4liverpool.com/2011/02/view-from-the-kop/newcastle-eked-out-hefty-sell-on-clause-from-liverpool), so if Andy Carroll ever gets sold, Newcastle gets 25% of the money. Typically this is done with youth players from small clubs who get bought by big clubs for small-ish amounts, but Newcastle fleeced Liverpool there.
