I've found that the method of searching players without a team and hoping for high progression players to be rather annoying. The best way forward is to do a GB search. Otherwise the process is long and arduous. You do a search, sign a player, train for a few days and hope his training shows signs of a high forecast player. You then use GBs to forecast what you think is a high forecast player once identified and keep that one. The rest you fire and do the same thing again until you have a full squad of decent forecast players. it's possible even without forecast and just using training values but it's painfully slow. You need to remember that people doing GB searches will get the 80-99 progression ones leaving very small numbers of decent players left. So I don't bother hoping to get 90+ forecast from one of those as cule probably already took the best ones  |
