i noticed interest rates going down as more and more people made deposits it was about 6.5% yesturday having slowly climbed down from 7% at start of season. Do we know why the rate has been reset? |

I believe it was explained in the update thread, but on the Spanish server there are people sitting on 4B at 10%+ interest doing nothing and making millions every week. This is to reduce increased funds of top teams simply from interest. Edited by @Lifeguard 08-07-2012 19:59 |

i read that but it was my understanding that now interest rates would drop as more people put up deposits so it started off at 7% then as more people invested rate drops in direct corralation to total size of deposits |

wouldn't it make more sense to pro rata the interest rate on the amount invested...I mean loading the interest rate at the lower end and decreasing it at the top end?..i.e. upto 100m 8% reducing to....4bn...0.10% | 08/07/2012 20:44 |

well so far no @ response  i was wondering people had complained so much that devs relented and fixed all rates at 7% i for 1 was against any deposits and the lowering of rates was at least a start hoping its a bug still waiting for explanation  |

Not sure how deposits directly affect interest, but deposits do seem rather pointless in this game, seeing as you don't really do much else with your money besides buy players or upgrade stadium. | 09/07/2012 00:27 |
