I re-signed a junior to protect myself from being hostiled (cheaply). Then decided to sell and removed the protection, with a view to giving the junior a new contract to reflect their worth. However, I have been told by the system, since the player has only recently signed a contract, I have to wait until 48 hours elapse. Does this mean, my player can be taken from me during this time? Why does this constraint exist, surely it is up to me and my player (and/or agent) to agree or disagree as often as we please! |

Put your junior up for sale with a low buy now clause, buy him right away and set his release clause at a price you want to sell him at. | 19/07/2012 17:46 |

There is a 24 hour period after the resign in which it can't be hostiled. The 48 hour thing is applied so that people dont reduce the salary on sunday night and pay less expense on monday then raise clause again. |

Surely it is better more sense to stop juniors taking a pay cut. Actually, why would anyone take a pay cut? |
