Anyone who have tried to play with this massive-attacking formation? Any experiences? I thought that since forwards usually dont pass the ball to eachother, it would be wasted to have more than one of them. Would it be better to play with IM, 2 OM's and CF? 21/07/2012 10:22

Almost all my defenders were hostiled and I struggle to find new ones. However, I have an abundance of great forwards (who still can progress so I am reluctant to sell) so I was thinking if I could set up a monstuous attack that could compensate for a weak defence. 22/07/2012 04:20

I have tried OM LW CF RW and LW CF CF RW... both were unimpressive..

if you have many attackers, use them as subs and keep the attackers fresh..

The guy who won spanish div 1 last season used OM LIM, CF, CF, RIM and OM OM LIM, CF, RIM - and to devastating effect.

Mids players, including OM, will pass to each other and to forwards. forwards will generally only pass to players that have passed them on the field, and even then only if they are very open, and the forward is under immense pressure.

watch my friendlies.
I use like 5 forwards (LF/CF/CF/RF the 5th forward would be one of my temp promoted juniors), 2 mids (DMF) and 3 defenders.

this is my regular formation for friendlies only

Substitute
Ive have noticed some average teams in higher divisions playing only IM or OM and a single attacker (CF/LF/RF) and they top the board positions with massive goal scores on its sleeves...

If you play around with the advanced formation and the counterattack, passing, and defence mentality zone I am sure you could create a massive attack with the forwards you have.
