 You get a small benefit on ticket revenue, billboards and training. However, the weekly maintenance costs far outweigh the benefits so don't build them until you have to in division five. 23/07/2012 23:29

 To avoid sanctions, as has been stated, but there are some small benefits to upgrading (whether they are worth the added cost of maintenance is a subject for debate):

Grounds: Each level reduces the chance of player injuries by 2%.
Entrances: Each level increases home match income by 1%.
Floodlights: Each level increases billboard revenue by 5%.
Dressing Rooms: Each level increases player motivation by 1%.
Scoreboard: Each level increases billboard revenue by 5%.

Maintenance cost per week:
Level 1: 100.000
Level 2: 200.000
Level 3: 300.000
Level 4: 400.000

 If you gain promotion to Div 5, you'll need to upgrade all accessories to Level 1 to avoid sanctions on your home match income - if you have a good idea that you're going to be promoted, start upgrading. If you do it gradually, you'll be set fairly quickly. 24/07/2012 16:09

 no thats a silly thing to do, if you think youre going to be promoted, concentrate on getting promoted, maybe save a bit of money so you can afford the upgrades, but dont do them until literally a week before it says youre going to be sanctioned, otherwise its money down the drain for no reason
you have 40 days at the beginning of each new season to upgrade if you need to, so only do so 33 days in, as youll have earnt more money from your higher div anyways 		24/07/2012 16:43
