What are the benefits of using CF over RF/LF? Ive noticed that CF's are generally slower, is that the only difference.

If I was to stop using CF's would using OM's be a good idea.

But OM is not considered as forward so you need to put at least one forward anyway.

Btw, a cf is slower than RF/lf only if his speed is. The speed only depends on the skill, not on the position.

You can watch all 3 in action in this game from today:

Note that the CF in at the start of the game has 85 speed, an so runs faster than the LF subbed in at the 60th minute who has only 77 speed. Bertomaister uses OM with 2 CFs and you can see their speed and dribbling combined with finishing made them quite effective.

CF are programmed to pass slightly less often than RF/LF and shoot on target more than LF/RF with the same finishing stat. OM is best for dribbling the ball up and passing to a forward ahead of them. They can also shoot but it's a secondary function.

their stats entirely depend on how they are trained.

But my RF doesnt score like d CF despite d fact that he has more shot and average than him. That is if i play him as CF and he has high versatile. 04/08/2012 11:39

that's pretty much wheat everyone is saying. even if you have a cf & lf/rf/lw/rw with equal stats, they will behave differently on the pitch. 04/08/2012 12:05
