to all liverpool supporters in the game, but also to all who love football in its whole history: Yesterday I heard a rumor from my daddy saying that livepool's owner want to burn down good old anfield to built up a brand new soul-less stadium... what do you think? |

Things change kid. People need money and jobs. If a new stadium can do those to things for people, then by all means. They did that to giants stadium by me. Alot of history, but like i said, things change. | 07/08/2012 19:53 |

I thought they were going to redevelop Anfield? Anfield can't be redeveloped to the required capacity (we need a 70K stadium) where it is currently located. It's shame to have to move, but we need to face reality if we want to have a future where we compete at the top level. Plus this is more than just the stadium, it would be of huge importance to the area as well. The redeveloped dock area and Liverpool One (with the Liverpool FC Store) is excellent. A new stadium is a must for the long term. |

Everton could play there (again) as tenants. A few modifications would be needed: Lower capacity for 1 man and his 2 dogs to attend. Remove all trophy cabinets, leave 1 toilet to hold their few pieces of silver. Dig up the pitch to suit their style of football. Then again, John Houlding did the right thing in 1892, and we should honour him and let the Toffs remain in Goodison. |

Utd had nothing to show for it as Liverpool weren't the only club to finished lower than their neighbours in blue |
