forecast button, which would be available at the top right corner of the page, is unavailable for you because you are under 8,000 exp. Log in everyday, play league games, and friendlies with teams better ranked then you, and you will reach the 8,000exp park in no time. |

In lieu of knowing a players forecast there are a few steps you can take to figure out who will progress well and who won't. 1. Know your coach's percentage. 2. Start the player you want to know the forecast of in his proper position so you have full motivation. 3. Do a specific training targeting the players you want to know the forecast of (do the training that has the biggest green bar for that position.) 4. Check out how well he did with his training. If your player got more than .2 increase after his training he's probably got a decent forecast (this is assuming your coach is about 50-60%, if he's lower then lower the projection slightly) If he trains at .35 or higher, then you have a really good forecast player and that's probably who you want to focus your training on. |

um... there are some trainings that, no matter how close he is to his peak, he will train .2+ such as forwards with penalty shots. and 60 prog can easily train .3+ so... its a risk if ur going to buy a player based on training %. |

Well yeah, I wouldn't recommend just using one training to determine what you're going to train or buy. I should have mentioned you want to sort of verify the guys training by doing a few other trainings. However, in his situation where he's got no other choice I don't think it's a terrible idea. He's also running with a team full of >40 average players, so even if a guy can train up 5-10 points before hitting his peak, he's going to get a lot out of his players. Yeah he's not going to be training a squad full of superstars who he'll sell for 100's of millions in a couple seasons, but for what he needs right now it works. |

+ArmoKidd+ said: long term plan > short term plan. I'm not advocating for any sort of short term plan though, training is always a long term plan. Yes in the short term you may train players up to their peaks within a month or two, but they're better than they were when you purchased them, and presumably you'll be able to sell them for a profit, even if it's only $200K, it's still a profit. Then as he starts making more money he can start buying better players and training them up for actual, good profits. Everyone starts their training with relatively crappy players, then as they learn more they're slowly improving those players. |

I did that. Started with 70ish prog mids, used the money from selling them to buy senior defenders and junior forwards with much better prog. When you start, you don't have the cashola to buy high FC players so you gotta work around that. | 11/08/2012 15:39 |
