Do you have any proof? Could you post a picture so the @'s could see what happened? I am not really sure. 15/08/2012 07:57

When you deposit the money affects the amount of interest you receive the following week. So you can actually compare those two values if they were deposited the same day. For instance, I deposited an amount on Friday and another on Saturday last week; I got 0.205% on Friday's and 0.11% on Saturday's.

Why do they say that the interest will be 7% when infact it will be so much less as you say 0.205 and 0.11%. Or am i just reading that all wrong 15/08/2012 11:24

Well, I've not really checked how they calculate it but you definitely don't get anything close to 7% each week. This is also true when you borrow; you don't pay 7% each week if you borrowed at that rate 15/08/2012 12:02

It's 7% (or whatever the interest is at the time). The amount you see on the deposits screen beneath the amount you wish to deposit represents what you would earn should you keep your money in deposits for 13 weeks (or for one season). It's calculated daily and paid weekly

I think it (loosely) follows this logic:
You get paid interest weekly, on Mondays.
If you deposit €1,000,000 on Monday, and leave it there until the following Monday you get 7% on the that €1M
If you deposit €1,000,000 on Tuesday, and leave it there until the following Monday you get 6% on that €1M.
and so on for the rest of the days.

Ok oh i thought that was the amount per week. That does explain it a lot better. Thanks 15/08/2012 13:50

If you deposit 1,000,000 on a Monday at 7%, next monday you will earn 1,000,000 x 7% / 13 (number of weeks in a season) or $5,384 (rounding up). If you deposit on Tuesday you will earn 1,000,000 x 7% / 13 x 6/7 (for Wednesday it will be 5/7, Thursday 4/7 and so on) or $4,615.
