i have notice that when players have a averages of 44, their performance rating in games should be 54 or their about but for my players it is particularly low, especially my keeper, he is 42 average but rate about 30 in games. How do i improve their ratings? | 16/08/2012 03:44 |

Are you using advanced formation? Most of my players (except my GK as sabrefan mentioned) play at or above their average when they are utilized in the correct position and are positioned (in advanced formation) to take adavantage of their strengths. For example, use a forward or midfielder with a good shot attribute close to goal, use DFM's further back to take advantage of their tackling. Put players close together so they have someone to pass it to. Things like that will surely increase their on-field average. And like aleph mentioned tactics are key; it's not only about the player's ratings. Edited by KingOftheHill 16-08-2012 10:47 |

it's also worth saying that having a higher player rating does not mean you will win. you will often see teams with a higher player rating in every position getting beaten by better tactics. |

I also suspect that experience could affect match rating. Some of the times I promoted juniors, they always had low rating in their first few games. | 16/08/2012 11:05 |
