THE higher the motivation the better your players will train if you win it goes down if you don't win and your players, average will decrease, but if they have a high motivation, then their average wont go down as much..Hoped that helped? 25/09/2012 07:32

Maybe not. I need more precise info.
If my players has, 126% of motivation, it is because he is a jnr that play in first team...I understand that.
So I suppose that there is a precise relationship between motivation and the role in the team.

Can someone help me?
I need to understand in order to train better my team...

Hmm .... it seems you are not married and never had a girlfriend, or otherwise you would not ask about motivation and performance.

Anyways, what sender has replied earlier is bang on right. Higher motivation, better training. Role in the team is not directly related to motivation. Motivation dictates personal performance of the player, which cumulatively dictate performance of the team. So it pays to keep your players highly motivated at all times.

same principle works for gf's and wives as well.

You are very very funny! Someone already told that? For sure not a girl...!

Anyway I want to know how to increase motivation?
I saw some precise steps: 126%, 101%, 81%, 51%. I note that It modifies if a player plays on first, subs or out of the team....or if a jnr players come in first team.

thx for the compliment.

As for motivation:- If you play the player in the position of their choice and they win the matches, it increases the motivation. Psychologist helps to a smaller extent. Basically make them play at their positions...

Players in the Starting 11 get 100% motivation
Players in Subs get around 80% motivation
Players in Reserves get 50% motivation

Players in starting line-up but not in their position (their average shows yellow) have 50% motivation
Players in starting line-up but not in their position (their average shows red) have 20% motivation

Temp-promoted juniors get a boost (around 130%) if they start.
