Last season I sold a player that had his 2% rights from another player and I could have sworn I missed out on the 1.5 million from his formation rights. I might be wrong though. | 11/10/2012 14:03 |

eamwilson said: no the buyer doesn't pay it, it is generated money, Edited by eamwilson 11-10-2012 10:55 As I understand it, the money comes out of the sum the team receives, You sold a player to and which is reselling him now, as long as You still hold formation rights on him. Last season I received money out of formation rights twice, so it seems to work, regardless that it showed, that You have been receiving this kind of money, when You initially sold the player. I think this was simply a bug. For the great majority of juniors I sold last season, generating formation rights, I didn't receive a penny yet, but I believe it's simply because they haven't been resold yet and probably never will, because they maybe got bought by I manager who is inactive now or replaced by a system bot. So there is no guarantee, that You will ever see any additional money, when You sell a player with formation rights. It's just an additional chance You have to generate income, when You sell players, who originate from one of Your own schools. |

It's like a stake the owner have on the player and it is (or should be) subtracted from the amount the player is sold for. That's not what I've seen, at least last year. For example, if you did a direct buy one of your own juniors, you get net zero for the sale/purchase, would be charged the tax and then would get 2% of the sales price back. |

when i sold a player that was generated from my school i got a extra 2% on top of the transfer, and when i had bought a player from someone else school and sold on to a third party i got the full amount of the transfer and i guess the manager who i got him from received 2% of the sale, It must have been bugged that's why it has all changed, but if you look in the update for season 7, section "formation canon" it doesn't clearly state where the money will come from |

For example, if you did a direct buy one of your own juniors, you get net zero for the sale/purchase, would be charged the tax and then would get 2% of the sales price back. that is true it was happening the same for me, I would lose 5% to tax then get 2% back and i worked out a bug for later seasons if it carried on like that and you had a formation canon of 10%, you could constantly direct buy your own player paying the 5% tax but receiving 10% cannon, i guess this is why it has changed |

Maybe if was different for everyone then. After I sold the first player from my school and my Financial Assistant said I got 2%, I knew it wasn't how it was supposed to work. So for the next few juniors I sold, I will copy out the total amount I have and make the sale. What was added to my account was the amount I sold the player for irrespective of what the Financial Assistant said I got from formation right. | 11/10/2012 22:59 |
