Each season ticket holder gets a general seat for every home game until the end of the season, so your price should be at least the number of home games left times your general prices. For example, if you have 25 home games left and your general price is $50, the season ticket price should be at least $1,250. 17/10/2012 03:56

From the FAQs:

Q: How do I manage Season Ticket Holders?

A:

1. Season ticket holders pay once per season at the price that you set and get a general seating ticket to every home game for the rest of the season at no additional cost.

2. At the beginning of the each season, a certain number of season ticket buyers will buy based on the price that you have set. You'll get a lump sum of money for these purchases. If your price is too high at the beginning of the season, no one will buy at that point.

3. You sell additional season tickets after each game you play. The number sold is again based on the price you have set at the time. You can see how much you earned on a given day in the finances screen.

4. The higher you set your season ticket price, the fewer season ticket holders you'll have, but the more general seating you'll have for each home game.

5. Set your price too low and you'll get too many season tickets holders and lose significant general seating ticket revenue.

6. The rule of thumb is that the price should be at least your general seating price times the number of home games left in your season. * See below for an example.

Go through your calendar and count the amount of home games you have remaining (League, Private League and Cup NOT friendlies).

For argument's sake, we will call this figure 25.

Multiply the 25 by how much you currently charge for a General seat. Ie: 50.00

25 x 50.00 = 1,250.00

Every time you play a home game, you LOWER your season ticket value. (Ie, 1,200 when you have 24 games remaining, 1,150 when you have 23 games remaining 1,100 when you have 22 games remaining etc)

The only thing you MUST remember is that on the second last HOME match, you MUST increase your season ticket in readiness for the following season.

This will also give you a boost financially when it commences.

Well, you play 38 matches In the league (19 home and 19 away)

And if in a private league with 14 teams, you play 26 matches (13 home and 13 away)

Therefore, you will play 32 matches.

And say your general seating costs 50.00

Therefore, 32 x 50 = 1,600 at the minimum

Depending on how good your team is, you may also wish to add a couple of hundred dollars to 1,600 for CUP matches

In your case, setting the season ticket at approx 1700 is a good idea

Hope this helps not only you, but everyone
